PROGRAM STRATEGY
WISE programmes are designed to provide holistic services to survivors of violence. These services include counselling, medical, financial and other support services among advocacy, training, capacity building and mentoring. Our objective is to empower our clients in the short term, to take control of their lives whiles striving to make strides in the long term by transforming the institutional and societal structures which propagate the cycle of violence. Thus, the WISE strategy addresses immediate challenges while also focusing on transforming the future.
1. RESPOND: The WISE-UP program focuses on strengthening and expanding existing provide counselling and support services, training and capacity development of service providers, research and advocacy, networking and collaboration and organizational capacity building.
2. ECONOMICAL EMPOWERMENT: The Women's Economic Empowerment and Development (WEED) is a program to promote economic independence for survivors, drawing on the fundamental benefits of integrating counselling, micro-credit schemes, skill training, and public advocacy with the ultimate goal of empowerment.
3. PREVENT: Advocacy and outreach campaigns to targeted communities, schools, churches, correctional institutions and the public at large.
