GVSSN
Gender Violence Survivor's Support Network
WISE thrives on and supports linkages amongst activists, practitioners, policy makers and private organizations to combat abuse, advocate for changes and care for survivors of gender-based violence. The GVSSN was founded by WISE and The Ark Foundation to provide integrated and holistic support services to survivors of violence. WISE, as co-founder, host and a member of the GVSSN, organizes training, meetings and communicates events for the network of over two hundred (200) associate and practitioner members.
The GVSSN has allowed for organizations throughout Ghana to tap into a vast variety of services provided by the dedicated members of the network. The GVSSN referral system allows for all involved in the fight against violence against women and children to refer cases, provide and track services needed and provided to survivors.
